What to Know About DMK Enzyme Therapy

Is your face still soft to the touch? For many people, it fades over time of untreated skin and sun damage. If you’re struggling with sun damage, dry skin, or heavily textured skin, we’ve got just the thing to bring back that radiance you grew so fond of.

As far as skincare treatments go, there’s something to be said about the DMK enzyme mask’s benefits.

What is DMK Enzyme Therapy?

Enzyme therapy is used for a broad range of concerns. This signature skin treatment is known for its best work; rapidly and efficiently rejuvenating the health and wellness of your skin’s ability to perform as well as it did a decade ago.

What skin concerns does DMK Enzyme Therapy target?

Enzyme therapy is used to address your lymphatic system, clearing acne, congestion, dehydration, dilated capillaries, and more.

Your skin's functionality is dependent upon access to a rich supply of healthy blood and blood vessels that efficiently transport to your skin cells. The DMK enzyme treatment works the lymphatic system, filtering the blood and encouraging a drainage effect. You will experience that drainage in real time as you feel the weighting and pulsating of the mask. (We know, we’re big fans of science, too!)

How does DMK Enzyme Therapy work?

As we age, we experience loss of functionality in different areas of our skin and natural processes that keep our skin balanced. Enzyme therapy stimulates your facial muscles and triggers a response to get those lost functions restored, enabling the skin to return to its normal state.

The DMK Enzyme Therapy treatment creates skin tightening that also removes impurities via a process referred to as reverse osmosis. Reverse osmosis can actually flush out fluids through the cells and outer membrane, getting rid of toxins and leaving behind radiant, supple-to-the-touch skin.

Which skin types are suitable for this treatment?

It’s always tough to determine if your skin type can handle a certain type of chemical peel or mask. Fortunately, because DMK Enzyme Therapy focuses on restoration from within, it is suitable for all skin types – from sensitive to weathered.

How many treatment sessions are recommended?

There are so many skincare treatments that require months of appointments to even begin to see real progress. With the DMK Enzyme Therapy treatment, three sessions are recommended. With three sessions, you will begin to see and feel your skin strengthening and improving in both touch and appearance.

The process of DMK Enzyme Therapy

How can you know what sets skincare peels and masks apart when you’re on the receiving end of treatment? Without the knowledge that a licensed esthetician is filled with, it’s a challenge to know exactly what you need.

The good news is that you’ll be supported by a skin specialist who can walk you through every single step, including a skin analysis to determine exactly what your skin needs.

Preparing for your skincare treatment

The best outcome for your enzyme treatment comes (in part) from how well you prepare your skin prior to your sessions. Do your best to avoid wearing makeup for the first 24 to 48 hours of your appointment, as this helps your pores remain as open and clean as possible – allowing the enzyme to penetrate as deeply as it can.

You will need to avoid the sun, tanning beds included, 24 hours before your appointment. This helps keep enzymes from becoming damaged upon touching the surface of your skin. And finally, ensuring that your face has no open wounds or sunburn is crucial. The last thing you want is to trigger even more inflammation in the affected area.

The DMK Enzyme Therapy Mask

The enzyme therapy mask targets three of your body's most important systems. Your facial muscles, blood vessels, and lymphatic system are all subject to stimulation. This muscle stimulation creates a more resilient set of muscles behind the face, and as your skin transitions to a more resilient state, the resulting effect is a more useful, enhanced appearance.

Aftercare for DMK Enzyme Therapy

Since your enzyme therapy is spread out over a series of three treatments, you'll have space between each session to allow your skin time to adjust to this level of stimulation.

Your esthetician will apply hot towels to the treated area, followed by a hydration session via nourishing moisturizers. You will notice a "plasmatic effect", which brings your veins closer to the surface of your skin. It's an incredible moment to see your skin hard at work, and it fades quickly – though if needed, light makeup can be applied to cover up prior to fading.
